Since restaurant options are few in the area I would hope that the restaurant might be upgraded. Since a space on the registration "page" for special requests is provided, it would be advisable to respond to such requests. I would like to have had a lighter, thinner pillow option.
Cool place for anyone looking to relax with cocktails, a good hot soak and beautiful grounds and se Beds too hard. No lobby coffee or breakfast. Fine dining restaurant paid no attention when waited at front desk to ask to look at menu. Great bar and bartenders. Loved the pool area and excellent spa tub.
1 night....ok would stay there again.. older furniture...not updated close to where i was playing golf
This was a nice, older motel. It was clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The beds weren't very comfortable, and you could hear every noise outside your door. The rooms were old but clean. I couldn't use the pillows because they were so big, so ended up using the decorative bed pillow instead. I'm not sure why they call it a resort, since it's clearly an old motel. The rooms and grounds were kept very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Exceptional Our experience at Caliente Tropics was wonderful. Our room was the basic motel room but it was very clean and comfortable. Nice t.v., bedding, pillows, etc. The outside space is beautiful! With a lovely yard, beautiful pool and hot tub. The restaurant, The Reef, has excellent pub style food and a fun atmosphere! Will go again!

Nice time. There are strong chemicals in the hot tub that dried our skin out. We both have naturally oily skin but needed to use moisturizers to counteract it. Good matrass, pleasant staff, clean room, well kept landscaping. The pool, hot tub and attractive grounds made it very resort like. The location is central and convenient.
Good The cleaning staff always seemed to be giving me the evil eye, even though we kept our room clean and only wanted service when we needed fresh towels The restaurant in the front was excellent, the Reef bar also had good fair priced food, the pool and spa were good and clean
