Themed hotel with great outdoor pool Hotel entrance and rooms closer to the street resemble more a motel. Make sure that, if staying in those rooms (great price when in offer), you go and enjoy the pool/Jacuzzi to make the most out of your stay. Great outdoor pool area. Friendly and helpful staff - particularly Joey at reception who helped with my reservation. Large room and comfortable bed. Restaurant had great food at good prices.

Excellent value for money - maybe not for kids They need more towels for the pool area as we had to go back four different times to reception to get some towels as they weren't washed yet - we only needed two! Also some of the bar staff were a bit abrupt/rude - we were well aware we had to buy alcohol from the bar which we happily did. Also be aware of the Sunday brunch price - it was a lovely buffet but it was $24 per person! No Power!!! Really? No power for 14 hours? While it wasn't the Caliente's fault, they certainly did not move quickly or efficiently in informing guests (or at least me) about the details of a 14 hour long power outage. I sat around waiting for 3 hours, assured that the power would be on "any minute," then only learned after I went to the office for the 3rd time that it was set to be off until midnight. Paradise! Second stay my key wouldn't work properly, staff not as friendly. I stayed twice here, deluxe rooms much better. Atmosphere of paradise. Loved waking up and sitting around the pool. Loved the diner at side of pool. Loved The Cargo Room restaurant at front, great quality food. Good price. Fantastic place, didn't want to leave.
