Best Character Hotel close to town! Lovely! They are in the process of switching all the furniture out. We had new carpet and new granite. New flat screens. Beautiful. So I won't hold the Furniture against them. I was Happy they had a room and the character was great! Not a cookie cutter place. Very fun all around! The Location is great. Chill Out in Palm Springs keine Dusche am Pool, derzeit leider Baulärm vom Nachbargrundstück. gepflegte Anlage mit grossem, palmengesäumten Pool, cooler Music, sehr gutem Restaurant (a la Carte) und sauberen, geräumigen Zimmern. Downtown nur 5 Auto-Minuten entfernt.

Good stay for weekend. Floor of unit above creaked and in need of repair; towel rack loose; clock on nightstand partly burned out (first "1" number). DVD player in room would be nice, though not necessary. Location near public transit (free); staff very nice and helpful, which made up for minor room annoyances in our minds.
Motel mit Stil und tollem Service, nicht für Suaberkeitsfanatiker EIn bisschen muffliger Geruch und eine halb abfallende Kommodentür, aber nichts was einem den Aufenthalt komplett vermiesen würde. Super Lage direkt am kostenlosen Busstop Shuttle nach Downtown Palm Springs, netter Pool und Whirpool mit Drink-Service direkt an die Liege.

Good There was some apparent confusion between the hotel and the bank in releasing my deposit which took a number of days. Hotel communication was prompt at least when I queried it, however its not very convenient going back and forth with hotel and banks while trying to holiday. Otherwise the place was great. Musicians in the bar playing Tom Petty covers were excellent.
Nice place to visit Did not sleep very well after reading a review about bed bugs that I hadn't seen when I made the reservations. When I asked about it at the front desk, the clerk let me know that the rooms had been treated a few weeks ago due to one complaint from a guest. The room was clean and there was no incidents of bed bugs to report. I would probably stay at a newer hotel in my future travels. But my stay at Caliente Tropics was not a bad one.
