Tried calling to make an appointment to see a dermatologist to have something checked. Was told I needed a referral. I have been going to dermatologists for years and have never needed a referral. I know my skin and when I need a dermo. Why must I pay to see a GP first to tell me what I already know?
Third time was the charm. Finally found the perfect one! Top priority is your health. No cosmetics up-sell, unlike Contour or West Dermatology. Very friendly and efficient staff. Extremely pleased to have been referred to Dr. Richardson.
I had a very positive experience with the Institute. Dr. Kamell was thorough, kind and supportive. The support staff are organized, courteous and professional. A very impressive operation. Thank you Skin Institute!
Appointment took 4 minutes and 32 seconds. My wife timed it. He did a very quick scan of the entire body, he froze a couple of solar keratosis and was gone. Poof. Visit was billed out at $560. It is reasonable to expect a more thorough exam and some insights on skin care especially at this price point. High end pricing with mediocre experience.
I had a pre melanoma skin cancer removed from my cheek and could not be more pleased with the results. Dr. Richardson, Moriah NP and all the staff were excellent, providing the best care in a very professional environment. This is a practice that only focuses on skin cancer, no selling of products or pushing cosmetic procedures.
This is a long over due review of Dr. Richardson..I went to him previously and was impressed so I went back..Aww not because going to Dermatologist for surgery is a fun time it's not. Obviously one worries about scars from this type of procedure but I was so impressed the first time and I was referred by many In the medical field that he was the Picasso in the field he is! No other dermatologist in the area limits their practice to confirmed skin cancer. Thus you can evade the cosmetic practices and go to a physician who did not sell out to cosmetic money. He and his staff are wonderful.
I had an appointment with this Dr., which I made over 2 months ago. The Virus struck. So the day before my appointment I call and they say they are open. I go there, (mind you I am using a cane and 76 yo). Doors locked. No one there, I even checked the website before leaving. I call the answering service and they can not tell me what is going on, and I asked to be called as soon as possible, no response. I continue to see Dr. Richardson and am always pleased with the professionalism and high level of care that I receive. The doctor is the real deal pro and he has an excellent team of physician assistants, nurses and support staff. I highly recommend this team if you have skin cancer.
