Nice place with friendly staff - they really aim to please
Hôtel très bien situé, proche du métro et de Deli et autres petits supermarchés où l'on trouve de quoi manger. Chambre spacieuse, bien conçue, avec kitchenette et tout ce qu'il faut pour se faire un peu à manger. Café et thé à disposition dans le hall, ascenseurs rapides. Lits super confort et assez calme malgré la chambre sur rue. Rien à redire.
We loved our stay at Candlewood Suites. The hotel is an easy walk from Grand Central, Times Square and so many other places - in fact, we never went everywhere on foot during our entire stay. The rooms are small but not tiny, and the kitchens are well equipped. A nice touch is you can borrow other kitchen gadgets and things from reception. I don’t get in until morning 0800 and want to check in right away to sleep. I sent a note to be sure to hold our room.
The only complaint I have is I found old chewing gum stuck to the headboard.
The front desk was extremely slow. Every time I sent downstairs for something (check-in, etc.) it would take 30 minutes to be helped.
