Dr. Goldberg was a huge help. After having my gallbladder removed by another doctor I continued to have symptoms. A few months after the surgery I had a scare that worried my primary care doctor and my radiologist, so Dr Goldberg was able to fit me in to see me the same day. He showed genuine concern for me, explained everything in easy terms and personally made sure I had all of the tests and procedures I needed done within just a few days. He was reassuring, kind and very competent.

Dr. Korman is a very careful diagnostician with good treatment suggestions (on the conservative side, which I've interpreted to be in my self interest). He also is very empathetic. Great combination in a Doctor.

He is so nice, reassuring, thorough in his questioning and explanation of your situation.

I had the absolute worst experience with Dr. Seddun, and I am appalled by his complete lack of care and compassion. I suffer from gastritis, and during my appointment, he showed zero interest in my pain or well-being. His bedside manners? Nonexistent. It felt like he was only interested in one thing: money. I was rushed out of the appointment in less than a minute! When I asked how I was supposed to manage my pain until my next endoscopy (which won't be for another 3 weeks!), he didn’t offer a single bit of advice or concern.... read more

In my search for answers to my chronic pain, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Goldberg, since gastrointestinal issues were a part of my problem. Dr. Goldberg cut me off before I could finish explaining my issues, and referenced blood work and diagnosis from 5 years ago. I explained that a lot had changed since the last time I came to capital digestive care, but he insisted I was experiencing essentially the same symptoms. He said he didn't really have any answers for my bloating and didn't think it was gastro-related, whi... read more

Came after hospitalization with sharp pain. The doctor was plainly rude. He was more interested why did I came to see him instead my previous gastroenterologist than actually ask about my problems and listen. Bad unprofessional attitude: rude , demeaning, up to a point of being sarcastic. Needed to literally ask him to prescribe labs. All he wanted to give me is a higher dosage of my old meds. Useless and disrespectful. Avoid at all costs. Had an impression that he is not interested in patients and their troubles anymore. It... read more

Abysmal. Terrible. Unable to help at all. Avoid at all costs. This place should be shut down for so many reasons. Never go here. Don't believe anyone who tells you this is even a competent GI office.

Brought in my 91 year old aunt who has been treated by gelfand for years. We had a 1pm apt and arrived at 1:10 and after checking in at the desk we were told because we were late the Dr would take the 1:15 patient.... so 15 minutes were all she was allowed. Ok. But the Dr called her back and said because we were late we would have to reschedule or do a phone call . It was upsetting to her and I could not believe it. Terrible way to treat patients!

If you are looking for a doctor who will follow-up with you regarding an urgent matter, don't miss his return call as he will not leave a message nor call you back! So take yourself to the ER for immediate treatment and locate a new doctor who is available and can at least talk to you over the phone.
