I loved Dr. Saxena's bedside manner as well as her ability to explain the procedure and answer my questions and worries. I really liked the clearly laid out pre-op procedure-it was easy to follow.She made the whole procedure seem less onerous.
Dr Butler was warm and friendly. He asked about my symptoms and specific questions regarding when and how often the pain occurs. He then examined me, confirmed his preliminary diagnosis, and continued to ease my fears of something serious. Proctalgia fugax is what he referenced as the reason for my visit. He described it as a sudden onset of severe sporadic pain in the rectal area, which can last from seconds to minutes, can be without warning, and occurs due to muscle spasms in that area.He next assured me that proctalgia f... read more
Dr. Butler was very thorough and listened to my concerns and issues. Thoughtful on deciding best course of action. Would highly reccomend!
Dr. Michael Schindler performed the colonoscopy. His team was Dr. Fuller the anesthesiologist, Nurses Carmella and Sono and the front desk Daniela and Raven. I also got help from Nelly, Keren and Anila. From the prep to the day of the procedure all of them were very professional, informative, caring, understanding, easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable as well as . I highly recommend Dr. Schindler and his team. They are truly excellent at each of their jobs.
I am a very picky person. I went to Dr. Shanavas and was very impressed with his service. He was patient, listened to all of my concerns, explained to me with examples and recommended options. His explanation was so simple that even a person with non science background like me could understand. Most importantly, he did not hurry the appointment and patiently answered all questions. I never have the habit of leaving reviews but today I was motivated to do so. Would high recommend this doctor.
