I had a telehealth visit and a procedure with Dr. Halvorson. She was very patient and kind during the whole experience. The staff were polite and professional. I was nervous and they were all very good at explaining everything and calming me down.
Dr. Howard provides in-depth patient management. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the table in order to put her patients at ease. My experience was both informative as well as compassionate.

This doctor cares about patients and knows his medicine. Upon our first meeting, he respected my same-gender marriage and affirmed it. I came to him about more than a year searching for a GI doctor who would listen to me and act based on that info. Within a week of meeting with and following his instructions, my chronic condition was moving from "intolerable" to "treatable." He provides an email for is patients to contact him directly and responds WITHING 24 HOURS, but often within 8 hours.

Dr. Kim is a very knowledgeable and friendly doctor. He conducted multiple colonoscopies for me including polyp removal and followed up when I had a bout of diverticulitis. When he felt a procedure would best be conducted at UMD he referred me to another competent colleague. He and his staff are caring and responsive and I am lucky and grateful to have him as my gastroenterologist.
