Capitol Carpet & Tile did the laminated wood floor and they did the tile in our kitchen. I was very much satisfied with their work. They took their time and they knew what they were doing. I talked to a few neighbors in the area that saw them coming and going each day early in the morning and same way in the night. I wasn’t here to supervisor the work being done. I was very happy as soon as I opened the door and saw the work they did.

We purchased new carpet for 5 rooms in our home. The salesman was 45 minutes late for our appointment. To be totally fair, he did call first. He showed us several samples and helped us decide which one to choose. We tentatively scheduled the installation for the following Friday pending delivery of the carpet to their warehouse. We never received confirmation that the carpet was available, so we called him mid-week to confirm the date since we were taking the day off of work to be there. The crew arrived on time on the scheduled day. They worked their butts off the entire time. We had one piece of heavy furniture that they had to work around and they did that without any damage. They did crack the corner of one tile when they were nailing in the tack strips that hold the carpet in place. They did a very nice job on the installation. We have not seen any areas that are stretching. They did leave a rather large mess in our driveway and in the common areas of the house. There is a fine white residue that is left behind when working with the carpet. This residue was left all over our tile (it was quite slick). It vacuumed up pretty quickly, so it wasn't a huge deal. Outside was a different story. The white powder all over the driveway and sidewalk got wet and turned into a paste. After they left, I had to drag out the hose and spray the place down. A few days after the install the owner's mom called for a customer satisfaction review. We told her of our experience and she seemed upset, but didn't offer us anything. It definitely was not the worst experience that I've ever had with a vendor, but I would not blindly go back to them for another installation without first reviewing other companies.

Even though the installers worked very hard and did a very nice job on the installation, part of our job is to the leave the premises in a clean condition. We apologize that it was not. The installers have been spoken with by their supervisor to insure they leave jobs in the proper condition. Sale was made in the Boca Raton store on Glades Road with Anthony, He was polite and knowledgable. His estimate of our job was right on. The installers came to install 3 rooms of tile. They were punctual, polite and did their jobs very well. The job was scheduled for 3 days, and it took 3 days. We would use Capitol Carpet and Tile again, and nobody else, and would surely recommend them to anybody. The job went perfectly. Polite, sophisticated, knowledgable and punctual.

We added a 12'x20' sunroom to our house. They measured and installed the tile in this room. As I recall everything was done on time and install itself went well. Will use Capital again later this year when we replace the carpet in the rest of the house. UPDATE:(6/21/12) CC&T installed 133 sq. yards of carpet in our home yesterday. The purchase of the carpet was made very easy by Marc at the Boynton store. I think we paid a fair price for good quality carpet. They allowed us to pick the install date. Came on time and Juan and his crew were absolutely outstanding. Really, no reason to buy anywhere else. See above.

They put down a laminate floor in one room for us in Florida. They did a pretty good job. Their price was ok but I didn't really compare prices. They put the wrong kind of transfer over to the tile. It should have been flat but the way it is now you could trip over it. They are going to come back and fix it when we get back to our home. They said that they could get it done in two weeks but we had to keep calling them to do it before we left. They came when they said they would come but we had to call several people to get them to come. I would use them again in the future because now I have the right numbers of the people to call.

Carpeted one room in newly purchased house. Provided quick professional service.. Sales staff excellent and did not try to sell us more than we needed. Estimator and installers prompt and professional/. Overall a good experience. Office staff goth a little confused about scheduling installation, but this was a very minor glitch./

I used Capitol Carpet and Tile, a couple of weeks ago. They installed my carpet. I spent about $2,000 on the carpets. Their salesperson was excellent. The installer was good. I would use them again in the future.
