I have been seeing Dr. Carrie Cardenas as my personal physician for several years and I have nothing but positive things to say. She is empathic, competent, up to date, a great listener and open to collaboration on diagnoses and treatments. Just first rate!
Dr. Carrie is unhurried, an excellent listener, understands and explains issues, and treats patient like a partner in determining best option for treatment needed (or wanted).

Carrie Cardenas has provided medical care that is thorough, careful, competent, and inspires trust. She is responsible for having found a recent serious problem in time to act and prevent it from becoming dangerous. Her practice is efficient yet pleasant. I’m grateful to have her as a doctor.
Dr. Carrie Cardenas is easily the most outstanding doctor I have ever known. Besides being competent and clearly very intelligent, her empathy for her patients is extraordinary. Who these days receives a call on Sunday (or any day for that matter) from their doctor to check on how they are doing? Simply put, she is a great doctor.
Dr. Cardenas has been a rainbow during the storm of a screwed up healthcare system. She takes time, listens, reflects and then maps out a plan. Did I mention spending time? When was the last time you sat with a doctor for over an hour to go over your issues? That's what Carrie does when you go in. Is it an hour every time? No, but I have never felt rushed or pushed off.
