I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mom had stayed at Care One at New Bedford. It was very good. The people are very nice. The facilities were in good shape. So overall, I would recommend it. We had a very good experience, especially with the people. The rooms were a little bit updated but they were in good condition. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I recently had the occasion to visit a dear friend's dad at Care-One New Bedford and I was truly impressed with the caring atmosphere which was evident with nursing, therapy and dietary staff. My friend's dad had the misfortune of falling and hurting his back but that wasn't a problem for the nursing and therapy staff. They took care of his pain, got him a specialty chair and mattress and got him on his feet again. The building was clean and I didn't detect any foul odors.... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My relative has been at Care One for approximately 3 months. They have mid stage dementia and the decision was a tough one but the right one. The staff has been top notch 99% of the time. The nurses are proactive and attentive. While they are still suffering from Covid staffing shortages these nurses and CNAs often pull double shifts with the same professionalism at hour 1 or hour 15 of their shift. I am/was a resident of this facility I have been to CareOne New Bedford twice for short term rehab and could not be happier. Both times I stayed 2 weeks, once after a hospital stay. The rehab is amazing!! I didn't think I was ever going to get my strength and independence back but I did! The staff is friendly, happy, caring and professional and even the food was great! The building itself is clean and bright, so clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of rehab.

I visited this facility My cousin and I were recently challenged to find long term care for my 93 year old uncle just 6 weeks after the passing of his wife. We toured numerous facilities but Care One stood out as head and shoulders above the rest. It is deceptively understated compared to many of the other better known facilities but our decision to place our Uncle at Care One was a simple one after meeting with the staff and touring his would be room .
