Get directionsWe were referred to Care One Parsippany, NJ, Assisted Living, by our helper at A Place For Mom. We wanted to compare it to another facility close to our home. Mom moved in 4 days ago and is thriving. Participating in several activities, making friends and at this stage in her life happy to see lots of other folks using mobility devices like she is. She is especially happy that there are later hours for all meals. She is not a very early riser and this makes her happy. I hope to see more positive things happening with Mom in ... read more
I should tell you that my mother-in-law passed away last [date removed] The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were very responsive to our needs and warm and caring. My mother-in-law was in memory care, and those people who work there are angels on earth! I would absolutely recommend care one in Parsippany.
The head of nursing was fantastic. Sorry I don't remember her name. Other nurses were also very good. The director also went beyond expectations to address [name removed] concerns and in general was very friendly and helpful. The dining set up was conducive to meeting other clients and [name removed] actually made a few very good friends. In fact that was the highlight for her. Although others may have different experiences I would definitely recommend this facility for short or long term care.
The staff is very attentive ,polite and professional. They seem to truly care about their residents. They are very good about keeping me informed on my parents and if there is any change in their health. The facility itself is very clean and well maintained.
They were wonderful! [name removed]couldn't have been more warm, kind and compassionate towards our mom and all of us.
I haven't had the food and my mom eats but can't say if it's ok or good or excellent. They have a lot including people who come in as well as a van to take residents on rides or shopping or events. When it comes to the value for cost all care is expensive - I believe it's worth the cost and yes we would recommend this community to other families.
I live out of state and my Mom began to have difficulties managing her house alone three years ago. Although Mom was not originally supportive of the idea we visited a handful of assisted living options and spoke with an additional handful of other options. As Mom visited places her hesitancy about moving disappeared. We made the decision to join CareOne at Parsippany and Mom and I could not be happier how things have gone. During the admission process their Lead Nurse and Head Marketing person went above and beyond to make ... read more
My mother in-law has been in this facility for a few months. She has made an exceptional recovery after hip surgery. Mostly, due in part, to [name removed], the physical therapist! He’s remarkable with his care and gentleness towards my MIL. His patience and perseverance has resulted in her walking and caring about herself! The facility is also very nice. Clean and modern. The nurses and staff are very caring. Sharon Schochet
Care is good. Caring staff. Beautiful facility. Many outdoor sitting areas to enjoy.Well kept. Cleanliness is important. Food is very good. A good variety in choices. Every day a variety of activities are offer for you to participate in. Offer a nice number of events that family members are invited to join in. Clients are treated like people; not just a number. After searching for a long time to find a place that I could now call my new home, CareOne meets my needs. I am very happy I chose CareOne.
