Dr. Smith is so patient and thorough. He explains what he is doing the entire time. His demeanor is kind and caring. Above and beyond. Every nurse that has ever been in the room are all professional and puts you at ease. There may be a little pain, but it is all worth it because of the great relief I get. I had a fluoroscopy with cortisone injection on my degenerated foot this morning. I was a little nervous, but Matt & Dr. Smith were absolutely wonderful & I can say my entire experience was painless. In addition, there was basically no wait time & they gave me pain relief that I have not had in a very long time. I even was able to go to a football game tonight & still no pain in that foot at midnight. I am thrilled.
Dr Smith is fantastic. He’s attentive, caring and considerate. The front desk staff and nurses are also great. They get you in and out, maximum wait time I’ve ever sat in the lobby area waiting to get called back was 15 minutes, unlike other offices that can make people wait an hour or more.
Emerge ortho has been great. Everyone involved during my injury has tried to keep the mood light for me. Dr. Smith and his assistant did well explaining things to me so I’d know what to expect before and throughout the procedure. Even though the procedure was a bit painful they did their best to keep me comfortable and reassured.
I have been a patient of Dr. Smith’s for several years. He has always taken care of my lower back pain(s) via a couple of different procedures and is fantastic. He engages with me about the procedure(s) and what I can expect and answers my questions. Bedside manner is terrific. He performed another nerve obliteration yesterday and may be best outcome I’ve had yet. it was instant relief. Another great job!
