The only redeeming thing about this motel is location, everything else was horrible. This place is old, outdated and plain unpleasant. -Zero communication about roofing construction, they were going to park the boom truck right in front of my car and block me in without saying anything. - Room keys stopped working after one night of a multi-night stay. - There was leftover food from a previous guest in the refrigerator. - Could hear through the walls of neighbor blaring TV and talking on phone all night. - The breakfast is... read more
The location is amazing being so close to the town and a short drive to the beach and other attractions in the area. Room was very cosy and clean and fit the cottagey vibe of the area. Decent price compared to other places in town. Only problem was that the bed was quite uncomfortable and the breakfast given was just a small cereal and packaged pastries.
Location was great, staff nice. Could get quite noisy being next to what sounded like a very crowded room. Tv issues consistently. Had to get a different remote from staff upon arrival. Then issues with sound and turning the tv off before leaving .
My wife and I were there for a hiking trip for 2 days and this property ruined our trip! DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon checking in the receptionist was rude, had ear buds in her ear and said drivers license and credit card, sign here, room 21. After checking in we went to dinner and upon our return we found that the toilet when sat on, rocks as if it is not bolted down. I have a video of this and have never experienced this in my life. The location was ideal. Just minutes from Ocean. We parked the car and didn't move it the whole stay as we were able to walk the charming town. The room was outdated for sure and could use a refresh, but keep the antique charm. The roof was being worked on which made it noisy if not up and about by 9am.
