We help Charleston residents and property owners address their heating and air conditioning challenges. Established in 1984 by James W. Carney and his son Curtis Carney, we started out serving the local communities around James Island and Folly Beach.

We’ve been a customer of Carney & Son for the past 6 years and find them to be a top-notch organization. They show up on time and employ friendly, courteous and knowledgeable technicians. Collin and his partner were great. They were friendly and very thorough. They gave us pictures of all the parts that were checked out and explained everything they did and what they would need to do. I think their prices are a bit high for repairs to an old unit. Collin and his partner were the perfect combination and I enjoyed them and felt they were both trustworthy.
The young man who provided a check-up service to my cooling/heating system was prompt, conscientious, and thorough. He patiently provided me with information on payment options, for as a senior citizen, I often needed repeated explanations! I appreciate his help, and I feel confident my heating and air system will be working in great condition very soon.
Great folks here with awesome techs. Jacob and Olivia are the nicest techs I've ever met. And don't forget to sign up for their membership. It's hard to beat.
