The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a medical facility. Have never been treated this bad by a Dental or Medical facility. Extremely unprofessional !!!!!!

This review is strictly for the poor customer service I've received by one individual that answers their phone. I've been trying for more than 5 weeks to get them to send me some form that is needed before I can even make an appointment. This is even with a referral to a SPECIFIC doctor in the practice from my own dentist that personally knows their work. I've called 5 times. Been treated rudely 3 times, been apologized to 2 times and I STILL have not gotten this stupid form via email. At this point, my jaw is so locked that... read more

As a former orthognathic patient, having underwent upper and lower jaw surgery and wisdom teeth removal in December 2013, I can testify that Carolinas Center for Oral and Facial Surgery is the best place. Dr. Bart Farrell is very compassionate, caring, enthusiastic, passionate, and friendly. The receptionists and surgical assistants are very compassionate, caring, warm and friendly. I highly recommend Carolinas Center for Oral and Facial Surgery!

My initial appointment was last year, Dr. Franco was nice. I scheduled my tooth extraction procedure about 6 weeks ago because I had a lot of dental work done last year I decided to wait. I asked how much it would be now and was told that she ( I have no idea her name) would pull my insurance again and check because last year I already has a root canal so this procedure was going to be expensive. I was recommended by my dentist, set up an apt at the Denver location to have my wisdom teeth removed, the two on my right side were giving me a lot of problems. I went for my consult and they would not help me without coming up with $1500, I was able to come up with the money set up my apt. Well I've had dry socket for a week and a half. I am a non smoker and I do not drink through a straw. They will not help me with pain. Dr Franco restored my comfort level in the overall process. I had an emergency and needed two extractions, urgently. I was in a great deal amount of pain and embarrassed, he spoke with me every step of the way and really put his orients needs and concerns first. I wish he could be my regular dentist!

I won't share my experience in detail, but long wait time, wrong information about arrival time, over charges and the info on my chart regarding what teeth were being serviced, was wrong. Top this off with the surgeon showing up 1 and a half hours after my scheduled appointment, made me walk out. I should have done my homework about his office. Lesson learned.

We were sent here from the ER for a follow-up visit for my daughter who knocked her tooth out. I can't comment on the service because we've been here since 10:30 and still haven't been seen! It's almost 12:30. What I assumed would be an hour follow-up visit is about to turn into a 3 hr visit. My daughter is 5 and it's ridiculous to have a child or anyone waiting several hours to be seen. The receptionists are doings what they can so that she is seen today, but this whole morning is just frustrating.
