Another Hardwood Disaster I wish we had seen the other reviews on their website about poor quality work before we went with them because that's exactly what we got. I also wish I could upload pictures in this review of our Before and After because I would not need to say anything more....the terrible results simply speak for themselves. This was a costly, bad experience. Look elsewhere for your hardwood floor needs because you won't find competent work here.
Installers are thieves I am very happy with the carpet installed by this company. I am not at all happy that the installers stole from me. The salesperson basically said the installers had been with them for 17 years and do not steal. 3 installers showed up and one gave me bad vibes from the start. For someone that has done this for 17 years the other two certainly had to tell him exactly what to do. I don't think this guy was part of the regular crew. Total waste of my time I should of known by the way the salesman acted on the phone not to mess with them. He came and seemed very disinterested in doing the job, said he would call me with estimate. Several days later he called with a partial estimate. I said when you have a complete estimate to email it to me so I can see the actual cost. Carpet Installation I bought new carpet and they did a $@!#% poor job of installing it. Had freshly painted wall and they marked almost every one of them up and did damage to my furniture that they had to move. Go some where else...
HARDWOOD FLOORING DISASTER My husband and I were referred to Carpet Spectrum by a friend to repair and refinish our hardwood floors. It was a disaster. They removed some wood and replaced it with the wrong wood. We have red oak and they used white oak that didn't come close to matching our wood. The sanding and refinishing job was so bad we asked them to stop and we hired someone else. Too many blunders to include in this review. Every seam showed, it rained on my carpet they proceeded to install it until I realizedon't it was wet. I called the manager he did send a new roll of carpet, but at first only offered fans to dry it. Then they installed the final room. After theyou left I found that an area about 5 ft. Was so wet that water was between my toes. I am furious. I've called the manager and he said they will send fans to dry it in the morning. They also scrapped up 2 doorways and a wall I would not use this company again.
Good Sale; Horrible Service Going into the showroom to pick out the carpet was fine. The staff was nice enough and we didn't feel like we were being rushed through the process. Jimmy came out to do the estimate and quoted a price for moving furniture, carpet installation and estimated time needed to complete the job. When asked he said the price was good for 30days and that the carpet was always in-stock.
