Yay!, although a colonospy is not on my list of fun things to do, Dr. Furs and staff at Cary Gastroenterology wiped away the stress and made the experience as enjoyable as possible. Janet in pre-op was very professional but still managed to go through the usually laborious health check list with a sense of humor and made me feel cared for and relaxed before rolling in for the procedure. Dr. Miller, the nurses, and the entire staff were incredibly caring and considerate. They were patient and thorough to go over everything and answer any questions that I had at the preliminary appointment and at the procedure itself. I highly recommend Cary Gastroenterology. I almost wish they could be my doctors for everything since my experience with the office was so positive.
Dr. Brian Lappas is amazing! Very professional, knowledgeable as well as informative, but more than that, he’s personable, kind, caring and has compassionate bedside manners. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a gastroenterologist.

Nidhi Malhotra, M.D.~ I get nervous about having a new Dr. She was new to me. I have seen her once & she did an endoscopy! So calm, through, very attentive, cared about my concerns. I had another test ~ she called me herself. Took time out to call me! She is amazing and the people in her office are very polite and helpful!!
Dr. Lappas was very knowledgeable, and had reviewed all my records. Listened my concerns and symptoms with empathy and great care by answering every question with patience and in details. Bedside manners-amazing! Even his assistance Agnes made sure that all my issues were addressed by the doctor and hers. The entire team, starting from front to the end was very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Lappas to any and everyone.
Dr. Fur is very nice, patient and professional. Dr. Fur understands patient's anxiety and entered his notes almost the same time the results shows up on the patients portal, even in the evening. I really appreciate Dr. Fur's putting patient first.
Everything was easy and smooth beginning with setting the appointment, understanding the prep, the actual procedure, etc. Everyone was so efficient at their job and also explained everything to me clearly on each step. They were very comforting and put me at ease. I was in and out of there with no problems.
