looking at places potentially for my parents and this place, right on the water at la jolla cove and next to the art museum would be perfect for them! One really important thing to consider is, this is NOT an assisted l living facility, they are senior living and apartments.The only downside would be the seals and sea lion smell! This is an exceptional senior retirement community! My aunt stays at Casa fe Manana and the staff members are always so professional and helpful. The facility is clean and the residents seem truly happy to live there!

Take care of the self, your parents or loved ones by trusting the wonderful staff of Casa de Manana or Tomorrow's Home for the non-Espanolio speakers. Everyone here has been kind and gracious when I arrive. Every resident has been kind and understanding when I visit. Lovely lobby, dining room, bathrooms, patio, and even a chapel. Treat yourself with a tour!

My mother has been a resident of the Casa now for two years, and she has been loving it. This beautiful facility is located right on the ocean, and Mom loves to walk along the beach. There are so many activities for her to attend, and she has made many wonderful and lasting friendships at the Casa. Wow! You can smell that magnificent perfume coming from all the roses as you walk by. I can only imagine this is where the beautiful perfumes of the world come from, because the fragrance is intoxicatingly prevalent. In our case, we immediately were transfixed by it as soon as we exited my Benz to view these incredibly perfect roses. What a magnificent sight to behold and scents to inhale! Some say it's like a cruise ship on land. We find it more akin to a college campus in an extraordinary setting. Communal life is to our liking, yet there is no pressure to forfeit private time and privacy. We've met fascinating people and made new friends. Art, music, literature, theater, films, trips and tours, exercise, workshops and classes, games and laughter infuse the atmosphere. My husband and I have lived at Casa de Manana for over seven years, so as the insurance companies are fond of saying, "we know a thing or two" about this place. We had been browsing retirement homes for a number of years for that "someday" home. About 30 retirement homes in a couple of states. We had a "wish list." My husband and I have been living at casa de mana for almost 7 Years. We thought that we would use it as a starting point for our Retirement years as we did have choices. My mother in law is a resident at Casa and loves it! She is very well cared for on all levels. The people that work there are top notch, truly happy and go above and beyond to help however they can.
