Was not happy after leaving the Temple store. No one would help me locate a certain shoe due to the fact they were all in the wrong spots. Then trying to get a certain pair of pants. Almost all the sales associates were either on their phones or huddled up talking to each other. Management needs to have a long talk with his workers about work ethics and their cell phones. Worst experience!

Went to buy a new pair of work boots found a pair they had a tag that said 219.00 got to the counter they came up 244.00 they called the manager over and he said they where 244.00 and he was not going to give me that big of a discount and walked awa.

Horrible, I returned $200 boots just for them to never give me my refund. I made a claim and now they called my bank saying I'm in the wrong and my bank took it BACK out of my account. I have proof of buying AND returning the boots so I will be taking action.
Their service was terrible and no one knew how to work the register, and we had to wait a 40 minutes just to pay.
I knew Mr. Cavender's from Oklahoma that originally founded the Cavender's boot city chain. I even used to shop at this particular Cavender's, but this time is probably the worst experience I've ever had! I came in, there was one greeting is a pass by the register, so I know they knew I was here, and I spent the next 30 to 45 minutes back in the boot sector trying to find one at one. 1. Jesus H Christ !! From the minute you walk in the store it's every 30 seconds " Something I can h lol you with?", "Doing alright today, looking for something?" High pressure to the point of I will shop somewhere else. Never again will I step foot in or shop at Cavenders.
As far as merchandise they have a decent selection, but if you want customer service forget it. There was hardly anyone in the store when my husband and I walked in and three employees at the counter. Not a one of them greeted us or even bothered to acknowledge us. Then we were looking for a pair of shoes in the men's section and the shoes were so mixed up it took us 10 to 15 minutes to find the right style and size. I purchased a pair of Boots for my 4 year old Grandson, from Cavenders. They didn't even last 3 months, had a hole on the bottom of the boot. Tried to exchange at the store, was told by Manager they would not exchange due to wear and condition. Keep in mind, this is a 4 year old wearing these boots. What kind of products are you selling that you won't stand behind??? Ridiculous! Thanks for nothing! Ex-customer
First time here and I am disappointed. We were not greeted at the front door. I had a question about a sales price and was directed to the cashier to get a price check. I waited a little bit before getting someone to help me. When did receive help she was not friendly and I got the impression my price check annoyed her. I won't be back to this location.
