Love this place. I have purchased several pairs of boots at PFI, and now my son wants to go there for his fancy jeans. They sell the brands he likes from "The Buckle" but without out the high pressure sales people.
Love the brands the store stocks, YMI, Grace, Miss Me. Nice environment. Prices same as Dillard's.
We stopped here to find some cowboy boots for our three year old grand daughter. We found those and more! We had two other kiddos who really aren't into cowboy things but our grandson with special needs found a small school bus he had to have and another grandson a stuffed dog! The staff were friendly and made all of us feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. The prices were really competitive with other western stores and it was well organized. PFI has a huge selection of boots in most price ranges. If they're having a sale you can get a pair of Justin's for $100, but you can also spend up to $800 or more on the specialty ones. The older staff is usually very nice, but anyone under 30 I've dealt with can be very snobby and make spending a couple hundred bucks kinda miserable. Be sure to check out the little alcohol corner- they almost always have samples!
Nothing says 'country and western' quite like P.F.I. - America's Western Store. I don't know why but, whenever I go home, I always seem to end up at this huge shop for a short period of time. This time, it was because one of my friends (who's cowboy crazy) just had a baby so I had to find her some authentic cowboy garb to dress her lil one in. I bought these cavenders boots and after only six months of wear, the soles and stitching started falling apart. Really disappointed with the quality -- wouldn't recommend.
There was an ad on fb for cavender's on line ordered my man a bunch of stuff for Christmas it was a clone scam site I got taken alway go to the official site or in store I'm trying to warn everyone even the actual company
UPDATE: 11/29/21. Just received my boots that I ordered as a Xmas gift. I was very excited to get these from this company because of so many great reviews. However, I did drop my rating score from 5 to 2 because when I got the boots late last night, they were just thrown in the box and they were tried on. The stuffings were out of the boots, tags torn off, and the paper was all underneath the boots. I purchased a Vest from PFI on December 24, 2019. When it arrived I found the inside had been stitched over the insulation, with insulation protruding outside the stitches. Also the inside of the collar was likewise stitched over the insulation, which had some protruding. I returned by Priority Mail on the 26th, Called them on January 8th, they said the refund would be processed today. They will refund the purchase price and the tax, but the original $10.95 shipping and the $9.45 postage I had to pay to return it, will n... read more
