It is not the service but it was the process that was so arduous. The underwriter required so many documents and then it took so long to get the loan approved. It seemed like there was a delay everytime I turned around. With all the Federal and State requirements, I don't know if you can really change any of the process.

I know some of it was out of anyone's control, but getting assinged to a new loan officer part way through the process was an issue. It seemed as though several things fell through the cracks and I know Caylab did his best to figure things out. In the end everything worked out but it was such a headache and definitely not what we expected.

We felt that at the end of the process there was quite a bit of miscommunication. The final amount we had to bring to closing was changed last mintue. No reached out from Churchill to inform us of this. We had to here from the title company and emergency wire the money on thw day of closing. It was only a couple hundred dollars, but it made us look unprpared and frankly seemed unprofessional. Caylab was wonderful! Very responsive and helpful. But the overall experience with Churchill was not enjoyable and I won’t be recommending Churchill to anyone. The construction team took ages to review documents and we had to constantly ask for progress updates instead of it being relayed to us. They took weeks to review one document and we had to send it several times.
