I have been a nurse for many years. I have personally and professionally dealt with many pain management doctors. I have to say Dr. Rutledge treats you with the upmost respect and allows You to be very active in your care. He does not push drugs on you and he tries to find the best treatment that is the most beneficial for your particular issues. Dr Rutledge is both competent and caring. He also has the greatest Nurse Practitioners assisting him. They are backed up by a staff of health professionals who take each patient's welfare seriously. They have helped me a lot and I highly recommend Dr. Rutledge and his staff.
Dr. Rutledge took the time to listen to my problems. When I received my shot in both knees, I didn’t realize he was doing so. He talked the whole time & had me relaxed so I didn’t realize we were done.

It’s been three months since my surgery. My pain level has went from ten to three, sometimes four, sometimes Zero! The SCS works great but it’s is the skill of Dr. Gordon and the placement of them that makes the difference.
