RecommendedIf anyone in north Atlanta ever needs a tmj expert, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Maggan! I had HORRID TMJ disorder. I tried many treatments over the course of six years. I tried the custom-fit night guards from my dentist. I had multiple rounds of botox injections in my jaw muscles. I saw a chiropractor. None of it helped. I love the doctor and all of the staff. They are so friendly and I never have to sit long in the waiting room. The usually take me back as soon as I sit down.
Wonderful experience with Dr Maggan and his staff at TMJ & Sleep Therapy -- everyone feels like family, and I always enjoy my visits! I've been a patient for almost 8 months and have diligently been wearing my custom-made day & night bite appliances for over 6 months. Dr. Maggan and his staff are wonderful. I have had TMJ issues for years and they only proceeded to get worse. I have now been treated by Dr. Maggan and my pain and locking of my jaw has disappeared. Popping is 99% better but I am not completely through with the treatment. Popping is only slightly when I am eating hard foods. I feel in time it will disappear as well. I highly recommend Dr. Maggan and his staff for treatment of TMJ.
Dr. Maggan and his staff are awesome. My issue was a little more challenging than most but they never gave up and helped me all along the way. I highly recommend them for your TMJ needs. His assistant Jayme is amazing. She is so kind and caring and really listens to your concerns. Linda at the front is great too. Dr. Maggan's wife is sweet and helpful I can't say enough about this office.
Competence and kindness go hand in hand with Dr. Maggan and his entire staff. I appreciate the thorough understanding and explanation of my TMJ pain, and I am grateful that I’ll be able to continue treatment for sleep apnea.

This treatment works. Dr. Maggon is very informative about how the appliances change the jaw and relieve your pain. I did what he said and the improvement is unbelievable. I feel so much better. I did have to pay for the treatment because of my high deductable but I have no regrets. It was well worth it.
