The service I purchased was a Big Deal - a whole house electrical safety inspection - that included, but wasn't limited to inspecting the electrical panel, main breaker, circuit breakers, GFIs and grounding systems.The $89 cost was a relatively small price to pay for the peace of mind this safety inspection provided. Replaced 5 defective outlets in 5 different rooms.The technician, Dave, was personable and on time. I showed him the defective outlets and he got right to work. He replaced the 5 defective outlets with new outlets. He was done in about 30 minutes. Very easy to deal with and we would use this company again.
Whole Home Electrical Safety Inspection.The technician was courteous and professional and assessed all issues quickly with great communication. It took him just minutes to figure out the problem with my outlets and fixed it right away.Previously, I had a another contractor look at the same problem and he said that he would not be able to fully assess and/or fix the problem without several hours of work at $70/hour. Fixed a dead electrical circuit that other companies could not figure out.The tech called ahead to let us know his location and estimated time of arrival (~30min). He had detailed knowledge about the houses in the area and already knew the layout of mine. He spent less than an hour identifying and correcting the issue.I have had other companies come out for the same problem and they spent 2+ hours and never found what the real cause was. Dismantled, moved the location of, and installed ceiling fan; installed new ceiling fan; replaced existing remote-controlled ceiling fan; replaced light fixture hanging above two-story.Fine; used them in past; first time I had this specific employee at my house; took much longer than expected/quoted and had to call complain about the slowness in job performance. Was able to obtain refund for part of the labor. Ask for Rob to do the job; he's excellent.
Checked outlets for grounding; checked capacity of main box; made recommendations for changing light fixtures.It was more limited than I expected. The tech was professional and courteous, but it was basically a sales opportunity, like so many of these AL Big Deals. I was a new member and had not caught onto that yet.
