This place never disappoints! I feel like royalty when I eat here because of the level service and the quality of the food. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing and unmatched. The quality of the meats and the quality of the salad bar are phenomenal and the attention to detail makes this restaurant my absolute favorite in all of Texas. Of all the Brazilian restaurants in San Antonio, Chama Gaucha not only has better tasting food, but the courteous staff and the way they make you feel as soon as you walk in the door is phenomenal. Truly an experience for those who seek fine dining and an unlimited amount of tender and succulent meat varieties, not to mention the amazing salad bar.
We will come back again! My husband said that it was the best meal he's ever eaten. He was slightly disappointed that "Happy Anniversary" wasn't written on my dessert plate. He has made arrangements prior. Also, we were told that we should receive a complementary dessert, but it wasn't taken off the bill. Minor details, and we had an overall amazing time. It is a lively restaurant with a lot of noise, so if a quiet mean is what you are after, well...... We've already recommended your establishment to family and friends.
Salad bar excellent, Carne( selection of meat, pork, chicken sausage, black beans, rice, fried banana,farofa all spectacular).
Fantastic job all around. Really great food and service. Staff goes out of the way to make us feel at home. We have never had a bad experience here.
A wonderful place that is artfully executed for what they do. They do everything well. From the hostess stand at the entrance to the manager bidding us farewell upon departure. Do not expect hand tailored fine dining personal service. They work as service teams with upwards of six people providing you service with a captain behind them. Think upscale banquet dining. Very great food and everything is served well. Come with an appetite.

We loved our evening out for my husbands birthday! All the meat we sampled was delicious! Salad bar was really good, too. Although I would not pay for salad bar only. Too expensive for a salad bar, even with the few high end additions. The staff was exceptional! The food was all very fresh! My only suggestion to the restaurant would be to add some noise control.
