We had to make that difficult decision to put our dog down. When we took her the vet who injected my dog hurt her. My dog yelped in pain. Then she tried to inject her again and she yelped again. Not once did she apologize for hurting her. And that’s definitely not the way you want your pet to go in pain. Also my pet had heart congestive failure. This clinic is rude. We initially had a good experience with them when they prescribed our dog medications. They were sweet and understanding. When my dog was clearly still suffering and getting worse we called to get the vets opinion. The receptionist was far from helpful. Repeatedly told us the vet was not in and would call us the next day. Actually returning calls when they verbally said they would.
This complaint involves both billing and service issues. I took my pet to the vet at Champions Forest Animal Clinic specifically to (1) have his teeth cleaned; (2) have a heart worm test and prevention treatment; and (3) get flea and tick prevention. I was given a quote of for the each of the foregoing procedures. I was advised that the vet may identify teeth that needed to be extracted. Our Shitshu, Shogun, has been seen by Dr. Sarter since he was 7 weeks old. He is now 13 and Shogun doesn't go anywhere else. Everyone is very nice there and they really care about the animals they treat and board!
