the service was impeccable, our waitress was very polite, we celebrated my wife's birthday with a celebration dinner and our watress saw to our needs the food was served in a prompt manner the best part was when the appetizer was served you were not rushed in eating it our waitress made it a point not to make you feel rushed the Gastro is one of our most favorite restaurants which we visit frequently when we're at the Tropicana thank you Gastro for making a special evening enjoyable

I had the prime rib special with lobster bisque, baked potato and buttermilk chocolate cake. Everything was delicious! The prime rib was so tender you didn’t even need a knife to cut it. My wife had the crab meat stuffed shrimp that was also delicious.

Management understaffed the number of servers and bussers for this first Sunday of summer 2024. Walk-ins kept being seated. Servers were overwhelmed, and until 90-minutes into our meal (8 pm) did she have time to catch her breath. Examples: Water glass was never refilled during the meal, had to ask for pepper shaker, had to ask for horseradish. Let me be perfectly clear. Excellent experience! This was our second time here and the experience was consistent with our last visit. The food is delicious and portions are a good size. Service is attentive, professional and helpful when ordering. We had DJ as our waitress both times and loved having her! I would definitely recommend giving them a try- you will not be disappointed!
