Reserved online got there 10 minutes before reservation time, to ensure no late fees. But according to Hostess the kitchen was running behind, so waited another 30 minutes. Overall the place was very nice, excellent wait staff and the food was excellent! The food came out timely, which was great. I would return!

Food good but not a lot for the cost. Worth it for the atmosphere however very disappointed the menu was not as advertised online. Specifically went there to try the blue crab dip but when u got there was told menu changed 4 days ago. Website should be updated based my decision to eat there on menu items that were not offered.

We enjoy Chelsea 5, not because there are very few places to eat at the Trop, but because we enjoy the service food, and the fact that it is a quiet, relaxing place to enjoy dinner. We wish it was open for breakfast and lunch as well.

First time dining here, and our only regret is not discovering it sooner! Our waiter called it the best-kept secret in Atlantic City, too. The crab dip appetizer was fantastic, and my stuffed shrimp entree was a sizable portion. My boyfriend had the meatloaf entree, which had a bit too much black pepper in it for his taste, but he enjoyed it otherwise. No room for dessert… maybe next time.

The prime rib special was a big hit with my husband and we are going back again in a few weeks because he’s craving it!! My chicken dish was good, but not as it was represented on the menu. I’ll try something else next time. I will say, I brought the leftovers home and once I tweaked the seasoning to my taste and added roasted red peppers - as listed on the menus- the dish was very good.
