Very good sit down breakfast. Nice view of the boardwalk and beach. Food was served quick and the staff was very friendly.
Would recommend making a reservation, can be accomplished online. Staff was very helpful and attentive, price for entries were 20-40$, but well worth the price. Seafood pasta has a bit of a kick, which I prefer. Definitely a great share, all around. Can get multiple plates to sample and share and enjoy the work/prep/care they have put into the food. NY Strip was cooked to preference, medium rare, and was able to swap sides out. Very accommodating and helpful.
So, myself and 10 other ladies dined here for brunch around 11am on 7/24/21 because there was an hour+ wait at Gilchrist at the Tropicana Atlantic City. Great choice, food wise. Very nice decor with a view of the ocean. There was only a 15 minute wait, check. For me, as a self proclaimed pancake connoisseur, there's was absolutely THE BEST I've ever tasted. I went there just yesterday with my wife and kids. I will be honest, it was a pain to find, and, we got directed to the wrong place - Chelsea pub! Our reservations were for 6:45pm and we got there late at around 7:05pm. However, that is where the bad experience ended. When we arrived the hostess was more than accommodating and was super friendly. She not only told us what happened to us was normal, but that she had a booth available for us. With spectacular views, incredible service and delicious, locally sourced food, this is easily one of AC's best date night spots. We came on a busy Saturday night, sat in the main dining room and tried a little bit of everything. The mozzarella cheese curds are so creamy, fresh and lightly battered. Between the views and the friendly service this place was a 10/10. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious and the service was great. I would highly recommend. It's a great price range for a nice date night without breaking the bank. Would definitely go back again.
I have been to the Chelsea Five twice now, both times being for brunch and loved the food each time. Simple, well made food with the right amount of everything. We really enjoyed the cocktails and food. The service is lackluster, but it didn't dampen either visit. Beautiful place and I wouldn't mind trying out dinner.
What a fantastic brunch spot in Tropicana AC! Upon arriving in AC, we were shocked at how hard it was to find a place with a brunch menu over the weekend. Tonight was our 1st time trying Chelsea Five Gastropub and we're definitely going back. Super friendly staff (thanks JD and Carlos!), great cocktails, very tasty and creative food, reasonably priced and the VIEW - wow. We enjoyed their coconut mojito and mint julep, followed by wedge salad (their house made blue cheese dressing is divine), filet sliders, white cheddar truffle shoestrings, and a Buffalo chicken sandwich.
