This is a hidden gem. Beautiful views, wonderful friendly staff. Highly recommend.

it is a long trip to find this place and it brings attention to all of the amenities at the hotel that are not available. Not even certain why they have a resort fee - but that is for a different review. the location itself is wonderful - they should bring back breakfast to look out in the morning sunrise and the beautiful view. In the evening there is less to see after dark. all in all the food and service were wonderful.

Food was very good. Pork chop was large, well prepared, and very tasty. Service was so so. Long wait for order to be taken, for dessert menu, and the check. Told the waiter (when he finally brought the check) that the coffee was only lukewarm; he told the bus person I said the "coffee was cold". That cost him 5% less tip. Appeared waiters spend too much time getting bar drinks.

The Chelsea Gastro Pub remains my favorite restaurant at the Tropicana. Their prime rib special on Thursday night is a bargain. Their Sangria is the best.

My friend and I got the seafood pasta and shared the brownie vanilla ice cream. I am literally still thinking about the food and I will go back to the Trop just for the sake of eating that again. And the service was great!
