I have never been a pizza snob, but after having Chicago PIzza Authority, I don't think that the place that starts with a "D" will cut it for me anymore. This pizza is excellent! The crust, sauce, toppings, all delicious and well applied. The cook on the pizzas were perfect. We are happy we ordered extra so we had leftovers. The delivery was right on time (on a Friday night!), 45 minutes. Cannot wait til our next order!
Stop listening to any review under 5*. Leaving reviews for delivery? We talking about the pizza. It's bomb, especially for suburbs pizza. Ordered from here about 8x now, delicious every time. This isn't your cheap little caesars or papa John's. This is the best pizza I've had in forever in the Northshore area. If you're leaving anything less than 5*, it's cuz you're complaining about something other than the pizza.
a very good thin crust pizza. excellent sausage and mushroom. Had a 1/2 sausage/mushroom and other half was ground beef and anchovies. Wife loved the anchovies. Had not tried this location (understand they have a few more around chicago_. But it was very good. I'd order again. Excellent crust, right amount of cheese and delicious sausage. I'm sold. and I had a $5 off coupon.
Had a night of catching up and conversation with friends and one of the group suggested Chicago Pizza Authority for a couple of pizzas and salads. First off...good suggestion! Second...pizza had to be cut like a traditional NYC slice...and lastly, the salad couldn't have avocados or avocado oil, due to allergy issues, which they accommodated happily, as well as the slice preference--NYC traditional triangle. The best thin crust option in the area (Lou's is still my favorite deep dish). They do not skimp on toppings at all like every other competitor around here, which is why I recommend you order your pizza well done (option is in drop-down menu during ordering process. Enjoy!
First time trying this place, but so far so good ordered a thin crust and a pan both are very good
Lunch special is fantastic! A slice with a soda for $7 I recommend the sausage. The pepperoni was good but there was a small kick/spice to it. I don't recommend the cheese! The size is huge -- like 12 inches long x 10 inches wide!
Great thin crust pizza, quick service, and great prices. They have good coupons too if you sign up with them.
It's a great, pizza place! I've been going to them since last year. The pizza is fire, one of the best I've had. I also really enjoy the onion rings and bread sticks. It's a really good value for what you get. And the staff are so nice and respectful. You really can't get better service!
