I always have a great time when I venture out to Harlem. Chocolat is my top go to spot for great food and an energetic atmosphere. I usually make reservations for Sunday brunch, and the hostess is always accommodating even when it's crowded and we may show up a little late. The wait staff does a great job and you can expect a lot of people in the restaurant so please be patient with the wait staff. Mimosas are great and the food is delicious. Looking forward to my next visit to Chocolat!!
I’m a recurring customer, and I was quite underwhelmed with both the food and drinks. The service at the front of the house and our waiter was pleasant. This restaurant has a nice ambiance. Sad to say, but I’m not rushing back anytime soon.
I'll just start off by saying that we came on Sunday in the very early evening. It was busy, but not packed. We had a reservation so we were seated quickly. But then we sat there for 25 minutes without one person approaching us to welcome us, bring us water, or take our drink orders. Great food. Great service. celebrated a birthday here. The only thing is the music was a bit too loud.
We were looking for a great spot before seeing a show at the Apollo Theatre. This spot was fantastic. Service was a little slow, but food was delicious and drinks were creative and tasty. I had the fried chicken with mac and cheese. Everyone else in my party of 6 pretty much had the short rib mac and cheese and they all loved it.
We were the first customers of the day. We waited 48 minutes for our food - they served people who came in after us before us... though we ordered the same thing. They did apologize after I said something. Food was worth the wait.
My girlfriend and I greatly enjoyed our date at Chocolat. After doing some light research on the restaurant I knew we had to go. The service and the vibe were top notch. We will definitely be going back.
The waiter was Phenomenal and had so much patience. The food was very good and atmosphere was really nice. Thank you very much.
Met with the ladies for a nice brunch food was good atmosphere was lively and energetic and they make great drinks
