Food was good hostess was exceptional for seating and pleasantry... The service was slow I had to ask for menu.. from patron sitting at bar I was waiting for friend …. never asked bar did I want to place order bar tender after twenty minute came over I ordered a drink. girlfriend came over I requested dinner menu and then we placed order.. food came rather quickly....mango drink was horrible... bar tender removed from the bill...arugula salad chicken wing and chicken breast was delicious... I would go there again....

I always have a great time when I venture out to Harlem. Chocolat is my top go to spot for great food and an energetic atmosphere. I usually make reservations for Sunday brunch, and the hostess is always accommodating even when it's crowded and we may show up a little late. The wait staff does a great job and you can expect a lot of people in the restaurant so please be patient with the wait staff. Mimosas are great and the food is delicious. Looking forward to my next visit to Chocolat!!
I’m a recurring customer, and I was quite underwhelmed with both the food and drinks. The service at the front of the house and our waiter was pleasant. This restaurant has a nice ambiance. Sad to say, but I’m not rushing back anytime soon.
I'll just start off by saying that we came on Sunday in the very early evening. It was busy, but not packed. We had a reservation so we were seated quickly. But then we sat there for 25 minutes without one person approaching us to welcome us, bring us water, or take our drink orders. Finally when our waiter came over, he acted confused and half sorry that "no one had noticed us". It didn't seem genuine. We got our drinks fairly quickly after that.
