Drinks were weak. Very pricey. Slow food service. However, the food is delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. I’d go back, but will be careful what drinks I order.
The food was delicious. Two of us had the shrimp and grits while the other two had the red velvet pancakes and fried chicken. I also got the bottomless cranberry mimosas. Loved everything and would highly recommend stopping here. A bit pricey but was expected.
We enjoyed the food, service and ambiance!!! The music was an awesome bonus.
The experience for the most part was very good. The food was great. When we commented how the music was a little loud, it seemed like they heard us a turned it down to a conversational level.
Met my girlfriend's for brunch. First time in Harlem and I was not disappointed. Food was good. Staff was very friendly and professional. Will definitely be returning soon.

Dined at Chocolat with my wife for lunch. We spent 3 weeks in Harlem however this was our first opportunity to enjoy a meal without the kids. We both agreed that this was the best dining out experience during our stay in New York. We both ordered drinks - cant remember the names of either drink. The waiter was amazing and those red velvet pancakes and fried chicken was the best. We will be back
I was absolutely in love with this place, the ambiance beautiful art on the wall, beautiful waiters, beautiful people of color, mixture of music. I went here for my birthday and I had a really great time. I will recommend everyone try the chicken and red velvet pancakes.
