That was my first time dining there and the atmosphere was pleasant .The food wasn't that great. It could have used more seasoning.service was excellent .The only bad thing was the noise.music was to loud good dj tho.We had to scream to hear one another.overall would go again.
As a native New Yorker who now resides in the Washington DC area, I didn't know what to expect. The food and ambiance was perfect for Moms Birthday Brunch. We had a great time...The food was superb and the music was on point!!!
Staff was very nice and accommodating, especially since the majority of my group showed up 45 minutes late! We all had a great time. My only issue: if I'm going to pay $40 for a NY strip and I order it medium rare, it should be cooked properly, lol. Was almost well done. Great flavor and everything else was good though
Great Place. Food was excellent. We had the lobster mac & cheese and crab cake appetizers. Both my date and I agreed that both appetizers were the best of that kind that we have ever had. Entrees of "shrimp & grits" and "short ribs" were very tasty. Service was a little bit slow but the place was busy, so we have to give them a pass on this. Waitress was very nice. We will be going back as soon as we can.
Enjoyed the food. The wait after we ordered was a little long. But ultimately, things went well.
Great food and good service but be prepared to wait a long time for your food.

I've had brunch at Chocolat before and the other times have been positive experiences. After talking it up to an out of town guest, the experience was disappointing to both. My pancakes were lukewarm. I could swear they usually come with fruit and a cinnamon butter, but maybe I'm mistaken. At any rate, the pancakes were dry. I asked for more syrup and it never came. My guest had to send her bacon back. Although she asked for it to be fried crispy, it was not. We enjoyed the ambiance, but I won't be back anytime soon.
What a great lunch. The hostess so nice. When I entered she said with a smile, where would you like to sit? I selected a great table. Lots of space. Wilfredo my server just so friendly and so happy. Don't see much of that now but Wilfredo was amazing. Always checking if I needed anything and continued to refill my drink. Now about the chicken. The best fried chicken ever. Not greasy, what a crunch. Loved it. The Mac Cheese delicious. I wondered why watermelon was on the plate but it was perfect. Cool watermelon after the del... read more
