Would have been nice to have gotten the best rates up front. Instead, we had to waste our time with another mortgage company. Finally, Churchill came back with a reasonable rate, only after we told them we were shopping around. We were also told that due to the original high rate quote and extremely high closing costs that our credit score was poor. An 800 overall average seems pretty good to us. At the end of the day it all worked out.
