I've traveled the world and eaten in some of the finest restaurants, Churchill's is by far the finest, best New York I've ever had, my wife had the filet and it was also fantastic. We'll tell everyone!
We had a lovely evening; if anyone was noisy it was our group of 7. The steaks were delicious as was the bass.
IF you are looking for MEAT. Exceptional quality. Best steak we (wife and I) have ever had. We have traveled throughout the world and have eaten in many fine restaurants (Iceland being the best for meats). It is wonderful to have a hometown place like this. Salad, break and sides were excellent. We shared a Cowboy Ribeye that was well aged and flavorable. Tough to cut to separate into two dishes. Overall a good dining experience. Wine was good by the glass. Could have more selection.
I have taken our work crew to Churchill's several times. Each time was great, except for the last one. Our service was spotty, and our waiter was harried to the point of him sweating profusely. I know the place got busy, but my food was lukewarm. Every other time I have been there, it was amazing. This time, it was like going to the Sizzler Steakhouse.
Everything about our experience was perfect. Rayna took great care of us, she is wonderful. Our food was outstanding. The dining room is a great place for a celebration dinner and the bar is a great spot for a casual dinner. Love the piano player, too. He's so talented!
We had a great time. The service was excellent. I had the steak- well done. My husband ordered the salmon. The salads were tasty. Mark had the iceberg wedge and I had the Caesar . The best part of the meal was dessert. I had the creme brulee which was VERY rich. Mark really liked the grilled peaches and ice cream. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, the kitchen added a dollop of whipped cream with a lighted candle in the center with my dessert. thoughtful.
My wife and I took our son to Churchill's in Spokane for dinner prior to his returning to Washington State University. He had the large filet, and stated it was the best steak ever. My wife had the ribeye and I had the KC strip. All 3 were excellent medium rare. We did the August special. The bread was delicious, the brule and mashed potatoes were amazing. The steak was okay, I don't like chewing a mouth filled with grease. Salad was superb. The restaurant was very beautiful. Slight mishap with onion in the steak with an allergy alert given, so I had my food nearly finished by the time the other plate was back.
