great food, a lovely dining evening
This restaruant was listed as the number 1 Steakhouse in Spokane, WA according to the Inlander's web page rankings. I had vey high expectations since I regarded Spencer's for steaks and Chops as being the best restaurant in Spokane, WA. My husband and I went to Churchhill's for a romantic dinner without the kids. It was AMAZING!! I had the sliced sirloin with peppercorn sauce. It was hands-down the best meal I've EVER had!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone with a special occasion or wanting a romantic night out. It was lovely!
Great steaks! Great service! We had the blue cheese wedge salad to start. The kitchen halved it for us because we wanted to try the cougar gold mc and cheese. Loved both the salad and the Mac. The steak we ordered was the New York strip for two. Delicious! The steak had great rub on it and it was huge! We were happy to take half of it home! We wished we had saved room for dessert because they looked so good!
We were impressed. Excellent steaks, service with a smile, and no hurry to get you in and out, they allow 3 hours for your meal -NICE!!!!
We were passing through on our move from MN to OR, our night here will be a well remembered highlight. Amazing food, perfect steaks, and some of the the strongest Long Island Ice Teas we've ever had.
My husband said the streak was the best he ever had! Great atmosphere, fabulous food and wine. Exceptional service. The only thing we didn't like was the seating. We were seated in an area where 4 tables share a long bench seat and the tables are very close together, so our intimate dinner for two ended up being a little crowded. But the dinner and dessert far outweighed the brief moment of discomfort. We will definitely return.
A little too expensive, but food was wonderful. Service was a little slow at times. A couple times water glasses were empty which there is no excuse for when charged high prices. Overall, great experience and we would come back.
We went to Churchill's for their $29 advertised T-Bone dinner that day only. Expected a slower atmosphere but upon arrival nearly every table was filled. Beautiful decor: Rich woodwork and accessories, Crystal lighting and chandelier Wine list was impressive. Although the T-Bone is not my favorite cut of meat, I enjoyed the meat but to be fair I need to try a different cut. I was not very impressed with the lack of seasoning/salt. Enjoyed our waiter.
