The ambiance was nice
Great place to eat - sit, relax and prepare to be pampered. Enjoyed our Monday nite visit that we went back Tuesday and brought friends to dine with us. They loved it as much as we did.
Good wine list but not a lot of I house expertise on high level wine. Steaks well cooked. Easy and comfortable place to enjoy a meal
What a great dinner. My last visit has a couple hick up but my dinner with very special friends was amazing. Service was perfect, we asked not to be rushed and our server timed everything perfect. Wine and Water refilled without any interruption - steaks cooked perfect - dessert was so tasty. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 Star was the Mushroom Soup ?? We had early 4:30 PM Easter reservations. We often Goto churchills less and less lately, as the consistancy has gone down over the last couple years. When this place has there a game on its one of the best in the country. But too often they do not. I've tried coming early, late, busy days and not. Steaks are not all equal and I respect that, but unfortunately the tempature of the food often the potatoes or specials are pre plated and not kept at a good tempature. No need to make a trip to Chicago to eat in a world famous steakhouse. We have one right here in Spokane. My husband and I are foodies and the only problem we ever have at Churchills is finding friends with a discerning enough palate to enjoy what we've found. One way that is effective is Wimpy Wednesday in the lounge. Super yummy hamburgers for $8 in the lounge.
As always the food and service were very good. We actually brought our own wine, as the mark up at Churchills seems unusually high. But they didn't seem to mind at all, so we will probably always bring our own. Yes, it's a $20 corkage fee, but still is way cheaper then purchasing a bottle from them. We just love the steaks. My party of 3 had reservations for 7:30 pm on Wednesday evening, March 16th and we arrived at 7:15 and were seated immediately. Our service started out fine as we ordered wine and appetizers.
