Still one of the best yacht tours in New York City. I still trust this cruise and I have been on it many times. It is always crowded and on a Nice e night when they bring you by the statue of liberty it like nothing else.
If you want speed you have to try this at least once. They bring you out on the harbor and turn it on. The speed of a 40 foot is like double of that in a car. just make sure its not cold.
Don't miss it! I've been on The Circle Line a few times now with all my trips to NYC and each time it's worth the trip. Going to see Lady Liberty is a great experience to be had by all. The price is affordable and sometimes you'll have just as much fun "people watching" while waiting in line for the boat!
Everytime I get a chance I try to buy a ticket to ride the Circle Line to cruise around Manhatten. It's just a wonderful thing to do and so interesting. Depending on the tour guide you might find out something the last trip guide didn't mention. This is wonderful to take friends who are visiting the area for the first time. Who knows, like me they might keep going back even on their own.
Even if you live in NY, this tour cant be beat. You will see not only the famous, but the stuff that you wont normally notice. Althought the tour is 3 hours, the time zooms by and you're left wanting more. Try to avoid tourist season as it could get packed.
Me and my friends obtained free tickets for the Circle Line Cruise. Although I live in New York City I thought it would be a worthwhile experience for me to tour the Manhattan shoreline on a boat. When we got there the boat was three levels and we got on. The whole circle around the city took four hours. Because we didn't have to pay I wouldn't know about pricing.
