City Image Barber Shop Owner Jeff Agnello founded City Image Barber Shop in 2009 when he was only 19 years old. He wanted to give his brand new barber shop the look of a salon, but the feel of a barber shop. The high ceilings, brick accents, and decor give it a “city like” atmosphere, hence the name that he chose for his business, CITY IMAGE!

Only problem with this review is there aren't 6 stars I can select! Been going to West Caldwell location for a few years now, maybe more. My three sons go there as well. The staff is super friendly, professional and funny, oh and did I mention, they all have mad skills with a scissors!!! The last year or so Cristina has been cutting my hair and I have been so thrilled with it I have followed her to Mahwah for my haircuts (no I am not a stalker). Thank you City Image, keep up the great work!
My haircut with Miguel at the Mahwah location was a phenomenal experience! He provided a consult prior to better understand my hair care routine & timing of my last hair cut. Very clean & organized set-up. He listened to what I wanted and provided feedback when I asked. Haircut was very detailed oriented & in a timely manner - not rushed at all. Overall, a 5 star haircut. I will be back very soon! I’m thrilled!
I had a great experience at City Image in Mahwah. Miguel was my barber and he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He immediately greeted me with a smile introducing himself when I arrived. I was a bit early, but did not have to wait very long. My father is usually my barber, so as someone who has grown up with the same barber for a majority of my life, I tend to be hesitant about having others cut my hair. This was my first visit to City Image Barber shop. I was very impressed with Miguel and the other ladies, I found them to be friendly and professional. Miguel did a great job on my haircut. I will definitely be making another appointment. Pat
Miguel was great! He seems very experienced and works efficiently. My son has curly hair and he was extremely knowledgable with handling it. He’s also really kind and my son really enjoyed his company during his haircut!
