(I had previously only posted this on an events page, however we went back again and it was as good as the first time) Keeping it classic. Clancy's Hamburgers started slinging burgers, fries, and shakes in 1965 in Nobelsville, IN - so it's o' so fitting to stack it into the revival of another piece of Indy's history, @bottleworksindy @garageindy . Wow just wow! These burgers are amazing! They taste like your old school burger joint burgers. My mom and I split the Clancy's topper and fries extra crispy. Im always an avid order fries extra crispy and highly recommend here. The fries are seasoned with a salt pepper and garlic mix which is delicious. This place is efficient. Lines to order that move quickly. The crew takes your order rapidly and with ease. Food is deliver to the counter in minutes. Hot, fresh and as ordered. The crinkle cut fries are steaming hot with plenty of salt. Cheeseburger was juicy with meaty cheese and just the right amount of Clancy Sauce. Really good food and service!
I love a good burger, and Clancy's did not disappoint! This was my first visit to the garage and I already can't wait to go back. I got a cheeseburger and fries and both were fantastic. My husband got the topper with chili and jalapeños and said it was great! The staff was friendly and our food was made quickly (and correctly!). Hoping more of these go in around the city!!
Clancy's sits back in the NW corner of the food hall, almost on the end. First off, I love french fries. These were nice thick crinkle cut fries with a really nice slat/peppers/garlic seasoning on them. I got a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato & grilled onions. The hubs got a burger (no cheese) with lettuce & tomato. He promptly threw out his tomato because it was clearly unripe, but mine was good. I'm glad to have tried their cheeseburger! If you have not tried this place at the Garage then you should definitely check it out. They offer "fast food" style atmosphere but with restaurant quality food! The cheeseburger burger was fulfilling but if you were not full after the cheeseburger then the crinkle fries will do it. I like that it was easy to order and the service was great! Definitely would come back again!
Clancy's is a great option to fulfill all your diner food cravings. The Beyond Burger was so good I had to do a double-take and make sure they didn't accidentally serve me beef. The beyond "meat" had those perfect diner-style crispy edges. The crinkle fries were well-seasoned and perfectly crunchy. My fiance was a huge fan of the coney dogs and effortlessly inhaled two of them. Will certainly be back to try some shakes!
While attending the Yelp Event here, my wife joined me and enjoyed a succulent well prepared burger with fries. I sampled both and agreed that they were tasty and fresh (often a problem with fries at many places). Love the co-location with so many other eateries/bars so each person in a party can make a personal selection.
First of Me and my family loved the garage hall it was so cute and child friendly . My son loved all the openness he could play and walk and enjoy ourselves. Clancy hamburger was great , we kind of got the homemade burger feel which is what I love. I got the Clancy Cheeseburger and fries with the works toppings.
