We sailed in Adirondack. The crew was rude ( specifically Sarah) and the boat was too crowded. Do not recommend.
Good crew. Sail started on scheduled time...went exactly as stated in advertisement.
We went tot the 'Liberty Tour' today! And IT WAS THE WORST. Firstly, when we got on the Captain gave us instructions and said don't walk around until I announce it. So we were around 15 people in the bus? Children and adults, and we are sitting there listening to his tour about the city. So what happens it that we approach Liberty and Mr. ANDREW the captain doesn't even Stop for a second. Ask all the others in the boat. WE HAVE ZERO PICTURES WITH LIBERTY AND IT IS PATHETIC. I've been on the sunset one a few years ago and it was great! This time we did the city lights and I was disappointed. The staff and the captain were pretty rude from the beginning. Kind of killed the mood.
Manhattan Architectual Tour was spell binding last Archtober! Last night's sunset/full moonrise sail on the America was a dream. pinch. pinch. Cannot wait to book on the Adirondack !
**Update: Meaghan did wind up reaching out to us much later and did honor the discounted price for an August cruise. We went and had a very good time. The staff on board was friendly and accommodating. Glad it worked out.** I can't comment on the cruise itself, because my messages to book tickets went unreturned.
