I have been seeing Dr. Garrett for a while, yes wait times are ridiculous, especially if you are waiting for a prescription. Dr. Garrett seems to always be interested in my pain and trys to help get it corrected, however I have insurance, the staff are great to me. However, my daughter also goes to Dr Garrett shes the reason I chose to go to him. KEY WORDS: SHE DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE. I have been with her and the staff treat her like she is beneath them, Dr. Garrett takes no time with her.
I'm in terrible pain most of the time so my primary doctor recommended Dr. Garrett. I have been seeing him for several months trying to find out my back problem. He has done two procedures that didn't work but it wasn't his fault. I am waiting to be seen by a back surgeon so until then Dr. Garrett regulates pain meds for me which is good. He is very compassionate and understanding. I also like his staff. They are upbeat and smile a lot. I have to wait a good while to be seen but he is worth it.

Nice at first, short treatment only if you are looking for chronic pain doctor, do not go to him !! He starts cutting your medicine without notice so you end up miserable !! Run Run !!
I saw Dr Garrett for almost 18 months and left his service because of increasing frustration over his incorrectly reviews of my records, medication and just lack of care. One of the last appointments, I said “ can I tell you what my day is like?” And his reply was “you can, but it won’t matter” his aids, with the exception of Mark, were rude and disrespectful. Dr. "Rimmy" is the moodiest physician I have ever encountered in 40+ years of seeing doctors. Or, maybe, he has a "personality disorder" and he too needs to see a doctor. I have been seeing him for more than two years and before each visit I have to wonder what is going to be the mood of Dr. Rimmy. On one visit he will be extremely friendly and the next he is not a happy camper and is very short with me. Which Dr. Rimmy will I be seeing today?
Dr. Garrett was a kind and respectful doctor, I had hope, then I needed a weeks worth of meds to stop the exasperating pain in the right side of my back down my leg, that is when the experience of GCPI was shown. I called the morning after I had popped my back, no return call so I called again that afternoon, no return call.
