I am very impressed with the care Dr. Patel his Assistant and the Columbia office Staff! Dr.Patel is very knowledgeable, compassionate and patient and really cares about his patience! The front desk staff are always friendly and great you with a 😊 smiling face. I have never had a bad experience or felt uncomfortable asking any and all questions concerning my health. Front receptionist and MA were very friendly helpful and personable! Doctor came in listened and asked questions did an exam and I felt like she actually listened and didn’t push pains medication, but gave options and started with a plan. Very pleased so far with the practice.
For the first visit, I wasn't prepared to invest the time necessary to fill out paperwork. However, given the work I do in the field of addiction, equity and insurance parity, I was impressed with the documents offered explaining many important topics. The wait then was a bit long; however, when finally seen, I was impressed with the preparation of the PA. Stay away from this place. All they want to do is bill for services not needed. My orthopedic doctor sent me to receive pain medication prior to my surgery, which was in 3 weeks. Dr. at CPS told me to come back in 2 weeks & didn't say what my plan of care was & my orthopedic dr. instructed to give me pain relief medication immediately until my surgery. She didn't like that I already had PT, chiropractic & acupuncture, which didn't work since I had bone spurs pressing against nerves. They did nothing for me & billed my insura... read more
Very knowledgeable and could tell me why I was feeling the way I do and how to try to get relief. I had a procedure on my neck and they were spot on. My neck hasn't felt this good in so many years. We're going to start on my back next!
