Gratitude unexpressed is ingratitude. So Im taking the time to write this to show gratitude in a job well done at a reasonable price. We called Friday and made an appointment for Saturday teeth cleaned and tooth extraction. Everything went as planned and our dog ******* (10yr. Old Lab) now has nice clean teeth. Sent home with antibiotics and pain medicine and a happy dog with clean teeth. Dr. ** **** ******* and staff did a great job! On their website his bio says it all. I PRIDE MYSELF ON WORKING AS HARD AS I CAN TO HELP AS... read more
Brought my dog in for sudden lump , Was treated well and was not pushed into doing any expensive testing. Was told best thing was to observe for couple of weeks to see if it resolves .. Wait was a bit long but worth the wait.
I took my pet in because she had experienced what I thought was a seizure or stroke on our walk this morning. Dr. Foxwell examined her and told me he felt it was a reaction she got from a sting or bite she had received. He wanted me to keep a good eye on her, and told me to call him if things changed. He was very compassionate and kind. Only interested in the welfare of my dog and me, not interested in running up the bill. Thank you Dr. Foxwell! I have found my new vet!
Used to be a good veterinary office, went there for 15+ years. Dr Barker used to be compassionate. I do not know what happened but we were soured after having to diagnose things ourselves due to ignorance of staff, mostly seen after they hired an idiot for an office manager. They can't keep the good techs so you get the bottom of the barrel. Also, billing for procedures not done.

Based on diagnosis, we needed to euthanize our senior chihuahua mix. They gave him the first sedative (that generally makes them go completely asleep) but didnt wait until it fully kicked in before giving him the dose of stuff that stops the heart. He was still responsive. They proceeded to give him the dose and it didnt work! They had to go get morelike, leave the room and get more (he was only 14lbs). He was just laying there slowly dying while they refilled the iv thing. Then they stick him AGAIN and he starts whimpering.... read more
I give you a 1 star because I have no choice. On September 8th, I brought my dog Storm to Colonial Animal Hospital for a c-section and to be spayed. While everything initially seemed fine, I noticed bleeding on October 30th. I promptly contacted the hospital, and they advised me to bring Storm in, assuring me that the visit fee would be waived if within a month, with a maximum of $75. Dr. Amy K. B******* diagnosed Storm with a bladder infection, prescribing 960mg of SMZ. However, communication issues arose, causing confusion... read more
Now that I’m done mourning, I can write this review. I’m not the review type but if I can save just one pet life it’s worth it. Please do not take your pet here. The entire staff, from the receptionist to the doctors are so incompetent I’m still in awe that this hospital is open. Yes, they have convenient hours and are very flexible with walk-ins but what good is any of that if they have no idea what they are doing. We called as my dog was having trouble breathing. We explained what happened, her condition, her breed. All th... read more
Beware! If you want your dog to seek medical attention without seeing the treatment performed and then when you call back because she was having trouble with the procedure and medication to call us back and get no response. Then call and ask to email the records to go elsewhere for answers and no emails. You show up to get the records and the attendants show zero care about the lack of support for the customer and patient. The mission cant be about the animals!
