This is a review of Columbia Oral Surgery in Portland ; over the past two years I have had to have 3 teeth extracted ; my dentist recommended Dr Auzins ; the experience has been excellent ; of course I recommend the IV sedation . It is my belief that being under eliminates the trauma of surgery ; I had a tooth extracted this morning and am feeling great tonight ( and the drugs have worn off ). Doctor assumes is knowledgeable and gentle. His office staff or Beyond confident. They're very friendly and welcoming.
Having MANY "hang-ups" and much anxiety from early childhood dentist (who would have fit into 'Little Shoppe of Horrors" perfectly) I actually have fairly low BP going to Dr. Auzin. He has always fully explained everything, is gentle and understanding. Any procedure has healed beautifully. Just got my first implants and am looking forward to finally having ability to chew on one side again. Highly recommend. Worth the drive from Columbia County. I’m a return patient and based on my aging teeth, will probably return many times in the future. That said, I’m SO glad my dentist recommended Dr Auzins when we first moved to Portland as all of my implants have gone perfectly as did the one this morning. There’s no doubt who I’ll call next time I need serious oral surgery and/or an implant. Both the actual procedure and financial considerations are fully explained up front. 100% professional!!!
