Dr Ezzie is great but it is very hard to get an appointment with her. And I had to wait an hour and twenty minutes after I checked in before she saw me.

I had my IUD removed last week and the procedure itself was quick and only slightly uncomfortable, but I did not like that I was told to sign the consent form before even talking to the doctor, nothing about the procedure was explained to me- how it would be done, how it would feel, how I would feel after, what side effects to expect, etc. I asked questions AFTER being told to sign, and they were answered, but it felt like a lot of details should have been explained before I was asked to consent to the procedure.

I was upset and disappointed when I went in for my 2nd appt at the hospital I was supposed to be delivering at, they informed me they had messed up my insurance and I was no longer able to deliver there. I waited 6 weeks after my first appointment to hear this. My only option was another hospital in network I did not want to deliver at. Everything went great until I met with the Dr. who rushed through the entire visit and did not take the time to explain what was happening to my body and what the medication she is prescribing will really do to help my health issues. When I scheduled my appointment for July 18th, I was told to call in a month earlier to order my birth control so it would be at the office in time. I did call the office a month ahead, and the lady I spoke with on the phone said I don’t need to call since they already have the nexplanon in the office. I arrive to my appointment and they never called my insurance to get it preapproved. I was forced to have a c-section… the amount of times I said No… I lost count. My baby was a face presentation. The doctor was trying to reposition her face by hand , another doctor after a nurse suggested it. Doctors Gilky gave that nurse a dirty look for making such a suggestion.. this doctor Gilkey made natural delivery a not even sn option to me !!! In person everyone is super nice and so far pretty knowledgeable, but calling in is a nightmare Everytime. The whole phone system should be fired. I always end up so frustrated and disappointed in the lack of knowledge, common sense, and empathy they have. I literally avoid calling them anytime I can because of how awful they are. I talked to a nurse and she said she hears that all the time.
