I'm really familiar with this neighborhood, but I had somehow missed this restaurant. I guess it's because they opened in January and COVID hit in March. In October, I was walking nearby and happened to see their rooftop. No one else in the neighborhood has rooftop dining!! I was intrigued! Unfortunately, it was fall and indoor dining was about to become a thing of the past, AGAIN! Just WOW. My husband and I just wanted to find a place with indoor dining and this came up on my feed. Let me just say, WE ARE SO GLAD it did. We are both vegan and the fact that they had vegan options without any hassle was fantastic. Our waitress gave us her recommendations on drinks and they were phenomenal. The food, FANTASTIC. The drinks, AMAZING. We ordered the Vegan Chorizo Tacos and the Portobello Mushroom Tacos (I can't believe how good these were, but honestly I inhaled them). We ordered the TACO KIT. It comes billed as make your own Tacos.! It comes with about 7 or 8 flour tortillas... chopped red onion, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce,2 kinds of shredded cheese, a nice portion of rice, and your choice of protein. We had the Chicken Mole, which was wonderfully tender and flavorful. Everything inside was beautifully packed and came in a nice tin as well.
