This is your standard steak and seafood joint (Indy style) and doesn't disappoint. The seafood tower was so/so, as the oysters weren't as fishy as I'd have liked, the shrimp over-cooked (and shrimp in Indy without St. Elmo's shrimp sauce....man, I dunno...). We were so excited to try Commission Row for the first time and it did not disappoint! The oysters on the half shell were so fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend the popover appetizer because the sundried tomato oil was perfection!! Chilean sea bass was extremely tasty and the filet was cooked perfectly, melted in your mouth. First time checking out Commission Row. I would recommend checking this place out for any special occasion. We went for lunch before attending an event at IRT. Since it was an early lunch, the restaurant was very quiet but I can imagine that it is a more upbeat/exciting vibe when its a busier time. The service was exceptional. Great experience! Front desk could be a bit more organized. There were quite a few workers just chatting and laughing that was a little off putting but once we were seating the service was AMAZING.

Went to have a special birthday meal. Our welcome and table service was top notch. We were happy with the drinks and the crab cakes and lobster bisque. Mac n cheese was ok. Bigger issue was both of our steaks had to be redone due to temperature mistakes. Second ones weren’t worth their expense - we’ve had a lot of steak, too. Overall we will probably try again, but spending $300 for a meal and leaving disappointed was a bummer. We would have appreciated a bill adjustment but it wasn’t offered. Our server Braedeon was very attentive and informative. Started off with a tasty old fashioned and the best lobster bisque we ever tried. Filet and seabass were very good. We will be back.
